The Phoenix Suns will get a three-point shooter back in the Western conference finals against the Los Angeles Clippers.
According to Shams Charania, Suns small forward Abdel Nader has been cleared from his April knee procedure and is expected to return to the floor in Game 4. Nader wasn’t a big factor for the Suns in the regular season, but his three-point shooting is valuable. Nader hit 41.9 percent of his shots from deep this season.
The Suns are up 2-1 in the series and will get a rotation player back in Nader ahead of Game 4. The small forward averaged 14.8 minutes per game this season. If Cameron Payne misses extended time, Nader could see additional run.
According to DraftKings Sportsbook, the Suns are still favored to win the series at -435. Nader’s presence won’t do much to move the line, but will help Phoenix maintain its course for the series.
