How the public is betting Hawks-Bucks after Game 1 of Eastern Conference Finals

Atlanta is receiving a lot of love from bettors after pulling the upset in the series opener.

2021 NBA Playoffs - Atlanta Hawks v Milwaukee Bucks

The Atlanta Hawks are up 1-0 on the Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern conference finals after Trae Young’s heroics and the public seems to be taking notice.

The Hawks are receiving a whopping 65 percent of bets to win the series after Game 1. Atlanta is +170 in the series after stealing home-court advantage by taking the opening game. The Hawks are 3-0 in Game 1s this postseason, but are 0-2 in Game 2s.

The Bucks are still receiving most of the money in the series, with 68 percent of the handle going to Milwaukee at -210. Giannis Antetokounmpo has been a consistent producer, but Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday can’t seem to get going in the same game. Holiday was brilliant in Game 1, but Middleton struggled.

Atlanta’s offensive rebounding continues to be a problem for opponents and that’s no different in this series. John Collins and Clint Capela have been dominant on the glass, combining for nine offensive boards in Game 1.

Game 2 is Friday at 8:30 PM ET.
