The 2021 NBA draft takes place Thursday, June 29 with the Detroit Pistons holding the No. 1 overall pick after the draft lottery. The Houston Rockets, Cleveland Cavaliers, Toronto Raptors and Orlando Magic round out the top five selections.

While many top prospects are expected to go early, others have a wide draft range based on how different organizations feel about each player. Here are the three best bets from DraftKings Sportsbook’s player draft position market.

Bet No. 1: Corey Kispert over 13.5 (-106)

Kispert doesn’t have a high ceiling according to most draft experts, but his floor is great. He brings toughness and effort defensively, making him a league-average player on that side of the ball immediately. However, Kispert’s most impressive attribute is his perimeter shooting. He connected on 44.0 percent of his triples last year, improving slightly from 43.8 percent the year before. In a league where shooting is at a premium, someone will take the Gonzaga wing before the 14th pick.

Bet No. 2: Jalen Johnson under 10.5 (-127)

Johnson averaged 11.2 points and 6.1 rebounds in 13 games at Duke before leaving the team, making him one of the most confusing prospects in the NBA draft this year. He has the physical attributes to be a great combo forward, but his percentages carry such a small sample size teams won’t know what they’re getting. It’s unlikely a team inside the top 10 takes a player with this many question marks.

Bet No. 3: Ziaire Williams over 18.5 (-134)

Williams isn’t a consensus top prospect by any means, but he offers some upside for teams in the late lottery to take a look at. The San Antonio Spurs and Indiana Pacers will be contenders to take Williams for his potential. The shooting needs to improve, but Williams brings immediate help on the defensive end and can be a rotation player right away.
