The Dodgers are somehow favorites at -265 odds after losing three consecutive games to the San Diego Padres earlier this week. The Dodgers will try to turn things around tonight with Walker Buehler on the mound. Buehler has been tremendous on the mound this year, sporting a 7-0 record and 2.38 ERA through 14 starts. The 26-year-old pitcher almost threw a no-hitter in his last start against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Buehler is the perfect stop-gap for Los Angeles as he’s 4-0 with a 2.63 ERA at home. The Dodgers have a record of 4-0 in Buehler’s last four starts.
After being held to 2.3 runs per game against the Padres, the Dodgers’ offense should be able to get something going against Davies. Davies has a 4.66 ERA, which balloons up to 5.40 on the road and 6.17 at night this season. The Dodgers will be without Corey Seager and maybe Mookie Betts, but should have enough offense to power through a victory.

It is easier to bet on strikeouts to go over than it is for them to stay under. That being said, if you do not want to play the Dodgers moneyline because of its high price, then the next best option is to attack Buehler’s strikeout prop. The 26-year-old starter has gone under 7.5 strikeouts in 8 out of 14 starts this season. In his first meeting against the Cubs at Wrigley Field, Buehler recorded 8 strikeouts in only 6.0 IP. However, in his last four home starts, he has gone under 7.5 Ks. Take the plus money, while you can because the odds will only go up the closer to first pitch.
