We go over some of the best MLB teams to stack for DFS on DraftKings for Wednesday’s main slate.

We have a 13-game slate in the majors on Wednesday, which means there are still multiple opportunities to come away with a win in DraftKings baseball DFS. The main slate has 7 games starting at 7:05 p.m. ET.

Sometimes with a plus-matchup on the MLB game slate, we get an opportunity to slot multiple players from the same team into our DFS lineups. You can learn more about MLB DFS strategy, including team stacks, here.

Here, we’ll break down three of the best team stacks for the MLB slate on Wednesday, June 23rd.

Royals vs. Yankees, 7:05 p.m. ET

Whit Merrifield ($5,200)
Salvador Perez ($5,100)
Carlos Santana ($4,300)

The Kansas City Royals got the best of the New York Yankees on Monday night, winning 6-5 at Yankee Stadium. The Royals have scored 13 runs in their last two games, which is a good sign heading into Tuesday night’s matchup against Yankees starter Michael King. DraftKings Sportsbook has the run total currently set at 10.

Michael King has had his share of ups and downs since entering the rotation for the injured Corey Kluber. The 26-year-old is 0-3 with a 4.08 ERA, but has only allowed three runs or fewer in 3 out of his last 4 starts. King has pitched better at home than on the road this season. But right-handed hitters are still making contact against him, slugging .270/.340/.382 with 2 HRs and 8 RBI. Royals second baseman Whit Merrifield is the star of the Royals’ team stack as he has an eight-game hitting streak. Merrifield is also averaging 12.3 fantasy points per game over that span.

Athletics vs. Rangers, 8:05 p.m. ET

Matt Olson ($5,500)
Matt Chapman ($4,600)
Tony Kemp ($3,300)

If you played our Athletics’ stack from Tuesday night, then you likely had yourself a winning night in DFS. After losing on Monday night 8-3 to the Rangers, the Athletics came back with a vengeance and defeated Texas 13-6. Our DFS team stack of Matt Olson, Matt Chapman, and Ramon Laureano scored 57 fantasy points.

We will try to duplicate that same success tonight as the Athletics prepare to face Rangers starting pitcher Mike Foltynewicz. The 29-year-old has a 1-7 record, 5.59 ERA, and given up 17 HRs in 14 starts this season. Foltynewicz has been better at home (4.71 ERA), then on the road (7.41 ERA) this season, but is getting demolished by lefties. Outside of Oakland’s top sluggers in their lineup, Tony Kemp could be a sneaky value play. He’s played a lot against southpaw this season and is hitting .297/.438/.486 with 2 HRs and 8 RBI.

Red Sox vs. Rays, 7:10 p.m. ET

Randy Arozarena ($5,100)
Manuel Margot ($3,100)
Wander Franco ($2,000)

The Rays have lost seven straight games heading into Wednesday night’s contest against the Boston Red Sox. However, they should be able to snap their losing skid against Red Sox starter Garrett Richards. Richards is 4-4 with a 4.36 ERA in 14 starts this season. But his ERA is much better on the road at 3.38. The issue with the veteran pitcher is he’s allowing 6 HRs and a .268 opponents batting average away from Fenway.

Rookie shortstop Wander Franco began his MLB debut in style, hitting a 3-run HR in the fifth inning and scoring 27 fantasy points. Baseball’s top prospect is valued at $2,000 in DFS, so why not take a flyer on him in this team stack.
