The 2021 NBA Draft Lottery took place at 8:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday, June 22nd to decide the front half of the first round of the 2021 NBA Draft. The Sacramento Kings were awarded the No. 9 pick in the first round of the draft following the lottery draw. The Kings were tied for the eight-best odds to win the No. 1 overall pick at 4.5 percent, along with the New Orleans Pelicans and Chicago Bulls. Here we’re going to take a look at where the Kings are drafting and who they should look to take.

Who should the Sacramento Kings take with the No. 9 pick?

The Kings are in a tough spot with this pick. They’d ideally want Evan Mobley to fall and may even explore moving up to get him, but ultimately the price will be too high. Sacramento ends up grabbing Franz Wagner, an intriguing forward on the offensive end.
