The Atlanta Braves and New York Mets will continue their four-game set at 7:10 p.m. ET. on Tuesday after playing a doubleheader on Monday. Charlie Morton will be on the mound for the Braves, while Marcus Stroman will start for the Mets. We’ll go over some ideal picks on DraftKings Sportsbook centered around the game here.

Braves vs. Mets, 7:10 p.m. ET, ESPN+

Moneyline pick: New York -107

On Monday, both the Braves and Mets split their doubleheader with New York winning 4-2 in Game 1. Then in Game 2, Atlanta won 1-0, giving them their third victory in their last five games.

The Braves will look to get their second straight win Tuesday night with Charlie Morton on the mound. The 37-year-old Morton has a 6-3 record and 4.03 ERA in 14 starts this season. The veteran pitcher has been up and down this season on the road with a 1-2 record and 4.28 ERA in five starts. Atlanta is 1-2 in Morton’s last three road starts. But in Morton’s lone start against the Mets on May 19 in Atlanta, he only gave up 2 hits (1 HR), 1 earned run, and had 8 strikeouts in 6.0 IP.

Meanwhile, Stroman has been playing like an All-Star this season for the Mets. The 30-year-old is 6-5 with a 2.35 ERA in 14 starts. The veteran pitcher is also playing well at home, with a 3-2 record and 2.02 ERA. Stroman has not faced the Braves yet this season, but he’s 4-0 with a stellar 1.88 ERA in four career outings. New York has a record of 3-1 in his last 4 starts at home. Stroman is the better pitcher in this spot and should be able to help lift the Mets to a win.

Player Prop: Dominic Smith to a hit a home run (+550)

The strikeout props for tonight’s NL East battle is not really favorable for either starting pitcher. That being said, we are going to try out a home run prop, which are highly volatile and is something you should only sprinkle a little bit of bankroll on.

In four career at-bats against Morton, Smith is hitting .500 with a home run and two RBI. This season against right-handed pitchers, the 26-year-old is slashing .230/.310/.364 with 5 HRs and 17 RBI. In his last five games, Smith is slugging .308 with a double and 3 RBI.
