The 2021 NBA Draft Lottery took place at 8:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday, June 22nd to decide the front half of the first round of the 2021 NBA Draft. The Oklahoma City Thunder were awarded the No. 6 pick in the first round of the draft following the lottery draw. The Thunder were tied for the second-best odds to win the No. 1 pick at 11.5 percent with the Cleveland Cavaliers Here we’re going to take a look at where the Thunder are drafting and who they should look to take.
Who should the Oklahoma City Thunder take with the No. 6 pick?
The Thunder have plenty of options given their war chest. They can package this pick and others in an attempt to land a star or stay put and take a player. I do believe Oklahoma City will shop around before ultimately selecting Davion Mitchell from Baylor. The guard exploded in the NCAA Tournament and fits well in Oklahoma City’s lineup even after the trade for Kemba Walker.
