Here, we’ll break down three of the best team stacks for the MLB slate on Monday, June 21st.
Reds vs. Twins, 8:10 p.m. ET
Jonathan India ($5,000)
Nick Castellanos ($4,500)
Joey Votto ($4,500)
This is strictly a play against Minnesota Twins starter J.A. Happ. After a solid start to the season with his new team, Happ has really struggled, allowing at least four earned runs in six of his last seven appearances. This has ballooned his ERA to 6.12, and it should lead to a solid night at the plate for Cincinnati.
Astros vs. Orioles, 7:05 p.m. ET
Jose Altuve ($5,500)
Yordan Alvarez ($5,000)
Carlos Correa ($4,800)
The over/under for Monday night’s matchup between the Houston Astros and Baltimore Orioles is set at 10.5, the highest total of the night. Oddsmakers are expecting an offensive performance, so let’s go heavy on Astros batters. They will go up against Keegan Akin, who has appeared in eight games this season with four starts and has a 5.76 ERA.
Orioles vs. Astros, 7:05 p.m. ET
Trey Mancini ($5,200)
Cedric Mullins (4,600)
Ryan Mountcastle ($4,100)
Oddsmakers likely expect a high scoring performance from the hitters on both teams as the Orioles have a favorable matchup as well. The Astros will start Jake Odorizzi, who has a 5.68 ERA. He has pitched much better since returning from the injured list in late May, but Baltimore swung the bats well in their weekend series against the Toronto Blue Jays. We’ll see if it carries on into Monday night.
