Why? Because plenty of people are going to pay $49.99 to watch it, that’s why.
There is no sugar coating this or framing it in any other manner than what it is. This is a cash grab and a spectacle, and not really sport on the level we usually consider sport. It all started with a likely-orchestrated war of words on Twitter between the Paul brothers and our best living boxer.
These YouTube girls better find some Barbie dolls to play with cause I’m not the one for the kid games. 3 years ago a fighter from the UFC said my name and I had to put a muzzle on that bitch. @loganpaul can get the same treatment before I go conquer Japan again.

We’ll leave the rest of the ugliness and misogyny out of it, but suffice it to say they decided to make a fight happen.
Then came the press conference, which turned into a sideshow in itself, and ended up with Logan’s brother Jake (the better boxer in the family with a 3-0 record) challenging former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley for a bout as well. That’ll happen August 28th. Because the gravy train keeps on going, and so far Paul Brother fights have done very good box office.
But maybe the best boxer in human history (50-0, five-weight class champion) taking on a YouTube celebrity that is 0-1 (lost to something called KSI in 2020) is simply a farce. Paul has agreed to come in at 190 lbs. or less, so he will likely outweigh the 44-year-old Mayweather by 30+ pounds. Although Logan seems reasonably athletic, he’s a massive underdog here with good reason.
Does he have a prayer against Money May? Likely not. But we may never know the true winner, and that’s because these are the rules in this “exhibition.”

That’s right: Unless the referee stops it or someone gets knocked out, there will be no decision. And thus there won’t wagering action available at DraftKings Sportsbook.
