We go over some of the best betting options for the second round 2021 NBA playoff matchup between the Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday.

Kevin Durant lifted the Brooklyn Nets to a 114-108 win in Game 5 as he played all 48 minutes and scored 49 points in one of the best individual playoff performances in history. The Nets now lead the series 3-2 and will look to wrap it up tonight when they head North to take on the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 6 at Fiserv Forum.

Nets vs. Bucks, 8:30 p.m. ET, ESPN

Pick ATS: Bucks -6

Regardless of KD’s giant performance in Game 5, the chances that he’ll be able to replicate that tonight are relatively slim. Even with his 49 points, 10 assists, and 17 rebounds, the Nets were still only able to pull off a six-point win in the end after overcoming a 17-point deficit. James Harden played 46 minutes and was only able to notch five points on the night while adding six rebounds and eight assists.

Looking at how the series has gone thus far, the home team has won every single time, and there’s no reason to think the Bucks won’t force a Game 7. As far as covering the spread, Milwaukee’s last win over Brooklyn in Game 4 was a comfortable 11-point win while Giannis Antetokounmpo went for 34 points and 12 rebounds.

The Nets will still be without Kyrie Irving, and Durant can’t be expected to put in two historic performances in a row, so unless guys like James Harden and Joe Harris can help lighten the load for KD, there’s a good chance the Bucks grab another win and cruise to a Game 7 back in New York.

Player Prop: Giannis Antetokounmpo O33.5 points (-113)

Giannis has been nothing short of stellar for the Bucks throughout this series, save for Game 2 when he was only able to turn in 18 points. He scored 34 points in Games 1, 4, and 5, while putting up 33 in Game 3, while also logging double-doubles in every game of the playoffs so far. It’s hard to imagine he won’t put in a similar performance tonight in Game 6, especially with the series on the line in front of his home crowd.
