Update — Conley and Mitchell are both in the starting lineup for Game 6 vs. the Clippers on Friday night.

Update — Mitchell is looking like he’ll be a game-time decision on Friday for Game 6 vs. the Clippers while Conley is on track to return to the lineup, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Update — Donovan Mitchell joins his backcourt mate Conley on the injury report ahead of Game 6 against the Los Angeles Clippers. Mitchell is listed as questionable, though he’s expected to play after taking the floor in every game so far. It seems the star is still dealing with the lingering effects of the ankle injury he suffered. Conley is still not back from his hamstring strain, but could be ready to give it a go for an elimination game.

Utah Jazz PG Mike Conley will remain sidelined for Game 5 of their second-round series vs. the Los Angeles Clippers due to a hamstring injury, the team confirmed this afternoon. Conley has not played since the first round against the Memphis Grizzlies, when he re-injured his hamstring in the series-clinching win in Game 5.

Despite Conley’s extended absence, the Jazz and Clippers are tied 2-2 as the series shifts to Utah. The Clippers will be without SF Kawhi Leonard, who is feared to have torn his ACL, according to reports that surfaced Wednesday. With Leonard out, there’s less urgency to get Conley back in the lineup after the Jazz dropped two straight games in LA.

The Jazz opened as -7.5 on the spread in Game 5 after the Leonard news. That line has since moved to -7 at home. The Jazz are also -286 on the moneyline on DraftKings Sportsbook. Utah is also -360 on the series line now that Leonard isn’t expected back.
