The Boston Red Sox and Atlanta Braves will open up a quick two-game set at 7:20 p.m. ET. Eduardo Rodriguez will be on the mound for the Red Sox, while Tucker Davidson will start for the Braves. We’ll go over some ideal picks on DraftKings Sportsbook centered around the game here.

Red Sox vs. Braves, 7:20 p.m. ET

Moneyline pick: Braves -114

The Boston Red Sox pulled off a 2-1 walkoff win on Tuesday night to salvage their four-game series against the Toronto Blue Jays and come away with the split. The Red Sox have 3 out of their last 5 games, while the Atlanta Braves just snapped their four-game losing skid with a 6-4 win over the Miami Marlins on Sunday.

This will be the third time these two teams are playing each other as they split a two-game set in Boston last month. The Braves will try to steal Game 1 with rookie Tucker Davidson on the mound. The rookie pitcher has played well in his first three big league starts with a 1.53 ERA. Davidson is still in search of his first major league win, despite throwing six innings of shutout baseball in his last start against the Philadelphia Phillies.

On the other end of the spectrum, Red Sox starter Eduardo Rodriguez has struggled on the mound this season. He has a 5-4 record with a 6.03 ERA in 12 starts. In his last six starts, the 28-year-old has failed to register a win, going 0-4 with an ERA of 8.49. The Braves should be able to put up some runs on Rodriguez as they average 5.21 per game at home.

Along those same lines, Rodriguez has not pitched well on the road either — 6.23 ERA and .325 opponents batting average in eight starts. Even though it might be tempting to take the Red Sox on the ML as they are 20-10 on the road, the Braves are the better play.

Player Prop: TBD player props for neither team have yet to be posted.
