Euro 2021 group play continued on Monday with Scotland facing the Czech Republic, and the Czechs look like they’ll pick up three points. The team took a 1-0 lead in the first half and then added a backbreaker of a goal early in the second half.
Patrik Schick picked up a pass near midfield and then gave it a boot just as he crossed into Scottish territory. The Scottish keeper had been playing out forward of the box and tried to hustle back for the arcing kick. It was all for naught as the ball dropped in just behind him for the key insurance to give the Czech Republic a 2-0 lead.
