UpdateAccording to Fabrizio Romano, Eriksen is out of danger and the match is resuming at 2:30 PM ET.

Saturday’s Euro 2020 match between Denmark and Finland was suspended just before halftime when Danish star Christian Eriksen collapsed while walking towards the sideline. Referees halted the contest at 0-0 while Eriksen received CPR.

The midfielder was eventually taken to a Copenhagen hospital, according to the team. He is in stable condition, according to multiple reports.

While Eriksen’s health is the primary concern for Denmark, the star’s health issue dampens the team’s hopes to qualify out of the group stage. Youssuf Poulsen and Martin Brathwaite can lead the squad, but Eriksen was the centerpiece of Denmark’s Euro hopes.
