How the public is betting the Euro 2021 Saturday, June 12 slate

The Euro 2021 group stage continues on Saturday with three matches across Groups A and B. We break down how the public is betting each match.

Saturday’s Euro 2020 action spans Groups A and B, but the main course will be Belgium vs. Russia in the final game of the day. Wales and Switzerland should provide some drama early while Denmark will look to get off to a fast start against Finland.

Here’s a look at how the public is betting Saturday’s action.

Saturday, June 12 betting splits

Wales vs. Switzerland

Wales (+310): 29% handle, 29% bets
Tie (+200): 13% handle, 26% bets
Switzerland (+115): 58% handle, 45% bets

Wales is receiving a good amount of attention from bettors and is a decent value play at +330, but Switzerland is the better team and will get more action. A handful of bettors are also thinking a tie is a strong possibility for this match. If Wales fans are thinking their team can get out of the group, this is the match they need to win.

Denmark vs. Finland

Denmark (-245): 62% handle, 86% bets
Tie (+335): 22% handle, 8% bets
Finland (+900): 16% handle, 6% bets

Denmark is the heavy favorite in this matchup at -245 and the bettors are going that way. Finland does have Teemu Pukki in attack, but not much else. Expect the Danes to take this match fairly comfortably.

Belgium vs. Russia

Belgium (-143): 94% handle, 87% bets
Tie (+270): 3% handle, 7% bets
Russia (+440): 3% handle, 6% bets

This is the banner game for Saturday, but many bettors are thinking Belgium will coast to a win. Russia represents a great value play at +440 and even a tied result at +270 should be getting more looks. Belgium is the favorite to win the group and one of the contenders for the tournament title, but Russia is no slouch. There’s potentially some value in going against the betting trends here.
