The Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets square off in Game 3 as the series shifts to the Mile High City. The Suns took the first two games handily, putting the pressure on league MVP Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets to respond at home.

Below is a look at a number of predictions ahead of Friday night’s game for the Free $5K DraftKings Pools - Playoff Edition (PHO-DEN).

Suns vs. Nuggets, Game 3 pool picks

Which team will cover the spread? Suns +1.5 or Nuggets -1.5

In what is essentially a pick ‘em, the home team is always a safer bet. The Suns have looked really good through two games, but Jokic knows this contest will make or break the series. The Nuggets have to win Game 3 and are the selection here.

How many total points? Over/under 223.5

Game 1 went over this line and Game 2 barely went under. Both teams are struggling defensively and on fire offensively, making the over the safer play here.

Which team will reach 30 points first?

As mentioned above, the Nuggets have to win this game to make it a series. They’ll be energized by the home crowd and should be more aggressive early. Expect Denver to hit 30 points first.

Which team will make more 3-pointers?

Both teams are capable of lighting it up from deep, but the Suns have more consistent shooters in Devin Booker and Mikal Bridges. Chris Paul can also hit from behind the arc. Phoenix is the play in this category.

Who will score more points? Devin Booker or Nikola Jokic

Booker is a phenomenal talent and making his leap to superstardom in this postseason, but Jokic is the MVP for a reason. This is the game he has to prove it. Booker can get hot and take the game away from the Nuggets, but Jokic is the pick here.

Chris Paul turnovers? Over/under 1.5

Paul is averaging 1.3 turnovers per game in the postseason. He’s only turned the ball over once in this series, showcasing his tremendous skills as a point guard. Take the under here.

Nikola Jokic assts? Over/under 6.5

Jokic will look to get going offensively, but he knows the importance of getting others involved to take pressure off him. The big man is averaging just 4.5 assists per game in the postseason, but look for that to change Friday night. The over is the play here, but barely.

Which team will win the 4th quarter?

The Nuggets will be the more aggressive team, but they’re unlikely to blow out the Suns in this game. Denver should ride the home crowd and Jokic to a late victory, winning the fourth quarter in the process. The Nuggets are the pick here.
