Full starting grid for 2021 SpeedyCash.com 220 Truck race at the Texas Motor Speedway

NASCAR’s Truck Series is back in action after a week off and is headed to Texas Motor Speedway this weekend. The green flag will drop for the SpeedyCash.com 220 on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET. The race will air on FS1 and will be available via live stream at FOX.com/live and through the Bally Sports app.

John Hunter Nemechek claimed the pole position for this race, two weeks removed from claiming his third checkered flag of the season. He’s won the Bucked Up 200 in Las Vegas, the ToyotaCare 250 in Richmond, and the North Carolina Education Lottery 200 in Charlotte coming into this race.

There was no formal qualifying this week due to the COVID-19 pandemic. For most of the 2021 schedule at all levels, NASCAR is using a performance-metric formula to determine starting lineups. It is split into 25 percent comes from a driver’s finishing position from the previous race, 25 percent comes from the car owner’s finishing position from the previous race, 35 percent comes from the team owner’s points ranking, and 15 percent comes from the fastest lap from the previous race.

Nemechek is the favorite in this race, installed by DraftKings Sportsbook at +275. Chase Elliott follows him at +350, and then 2020 champ Sheldon Creed is tied with Austin Hill at +700.
