Final Update: You can’t help but feel bad for Dame after this one... The Trail Blazers supporting cast blew it down the stretch and Lillard’s two clutch 3-pointers were for nought. The Nuggets take Game 5 in 2OT 147-140 to take a 3-2 series lead back to Portland for Game 6 on Thursday night.
Lillard finishes with 55 points and the NBA playoff record for 3-pointers with 12. MVP favorite Nikola Jokic shouldn’t be forgotten in this one. He finished with 38-11-9 and one of the craziest passes ever to MPJ to set up a big-time 3-pointer that basically sealed the win. Lillard scored 17 of the Blazers’ 19 points in the two overtimes. He literally got zero help.
Update: Damian Lillard is not human. Another clutch 3-pointer in OT to force double OT in Game 5 vs. the Nuggets. It’s 135-135. I don’t have any other words. Shoutout to World Wide Wob for these.

Rivers is not clutch and missed the 3-pointer at the other end that would have won it for the Nuggets. So we go to another OT with Dame at 50 points. It almost feels like there’s no way Lillard lets the Blazers lose this game. It would be insanity to have this type of performance and not come away with the W. Not only that, but Dame made history in 2OT with the most 3-pointers in an NBA playoff game ever at 12 and there’s plenty of time to add to that. He passed Klay Thompson, who had previously held the record at 11.
IT’S DAME TIME BABY! The Portland Trail Blazers were down 3 points with 8.4 seconds left in Game 5 agains the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday night and of course we’re going to overtime after Damian Lillard nailed a clutch 3-pointer in the eye of Michael Porter Jr. The score was 121-121 as the two teams fight to take a 3-2 series lead in the first round of the 2021 NBA Playoffs. Take a look at the clutchness from Damey on this one.

Update: Uhhhhh, Lillard is doing it again! Dame is up to 47 points and the Blazers came back in OT to make it a one possession game with 16.5 seconds left. Lillard went on his own personal 9-0 run to get Portland back in it. Can he pull off some more heroics?
Lillard has 38 points with 11 assists as the two teams are in extra time. The series is tied 2-2 and the Blazers have a shot to take a 3-2 lead heading back to Portland for Game 6. The Nuggets shook off a egregious foul call on Austin Rivers prior to the Dame 3-pointer. Rivers was called for a phantom foul which was reviewed and they said it was contact before the shot (suuuuuure, Jan). Here’s a look at that play.
I'm sorry, this is not a foul pic.twitter.com/F0UI7IStBA
