What time will Canelo vs. Saunders fight start on May 8th

Canelo Alvarez and Billy Joe Saunders are set to face off in the ring Saturday to continue the super middleweight unification process. We break down when the fight starts and how to watch the full card.

Canelo Alvarez and Billy Joe Saunders will face off on Saturday, May 8 for the WBA, WBC, WBO and The Ring Magazine super middleweight titles. This bout will be one short of a complete unification, but it could set the division up for a unification bout between the winner and IBF champ Caleb Plant.

The super middleweight title fight will take place at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, with the main card kicking off at 8:00 p.m. ET. DAZN will broadcast the showdown worldwide, except for the country of Mexico.

Alvarez and Saunders are expected to make their ring walks at approximately 11 p.m. The exact time will depend on the length of the fights across the rest of the main card. The first round of the main event will get going at some point in the 11 p.m. hour.
