In the final game on Thursday night, the Tampa Bay Rays will finish up their four-game series against the Los Angeles Angels at 9:38 p.m. ET. Josh Fleming will be on the mound for the Rays, while Angels will put southpaw Andrew Heaney on the bump. We’ll go over some ideal picks on DraftKings Sportsbook centered around the game here.

Tampa Bay Rays vs. Los Angeles Angels, 9:38 p.m. ET

Moneyline pick: Angels -148

Despite being favored on Thursday night, the Angels have lost three straight games to the Rays. On Wednesday night, the Rays defeated the Angels, who had Shohei Ohtani on the mound, 3-1 Ohtani pitched well, only allowing a hit and 6 walks while striking out 7 in 5.0 IP. Tampa Bay was held scoreless until 7th inning, thanks to a 3-run home run from Brandon Lowe.

Relief pitcher Josh Fleming will start tonight’s game against the Angels instead of Collin McHugh. This season, Fleming has a record of 1-3 with an ERA of 2.18. In his last start against the Astros, Fleming allowed 5 walks, 3 hits, 3 earned runs, but struck out four in a season-high 6.0 IP. Meanwhile, the Angels will have Andrew Heaney on the mound. The 29-year-old has a 1-2 record with an ERA of 5.25. In his last start against the Mariners on April 30, the veteran pitcher got rocked for 6 hits (3 HRs), 4 earned runs, and recorded 5 strikeouts in 3.1 IP. In two starts at home this season, Heaney has an ERA of 9.72, which is not necessarily great.

Player Prop: Andrew Heaney under 7.5 strikeouts (-113)

This player prop has been at even money for most of the day and will likely not change the closer we get to first pitcher. Angels starting Andrew Heaney is facing a Rays’ offense that is averaging 12 strikeouts in their last three games, which isn't great. However, through five starts this season, the southpaw has only gone over 7.5 strikeouts twice. With the Tampa Bay has scored runs in this series, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the under hit here.
