The Hawks have won two consecutive contests after losing three straight games to end the month of April. Atlanta defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 123-114 on Monday, giving seven straight wins at home. The Hawks have a record of 6-4 in their last 10 games. We’ll go over some ideal picks on DraftKings Sportsbook centered around the game here.
Suns vs. Hawks, 8:00 p.m. ET, NBA League Pass
Pick ATS: Hawks +1
It does not come as a surprise to see the line at one point as both teams are playing good basketball at the right time. Aforementioned, Phoenix won five consecutive games and are coming into Wednesday’s night contest relatively healthy. Over the course of their win streak, the No. 1 seed Suns are averaging 121 points per game.
However, this is the last game of their mini-three game road trip, which are always tough to win. In fact, Phoenix has played seven out of their last 10 games on the road, which does not include tonight’s game. The Suns are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games and 4-2 ATS in their last six games against a team from the Southeast Division.
As for the Hawks, they’ve played better recently with Trae Young returning to the starting lineup. The star point guard missed the last four games in April with a lateral ankle sprain. In the Hawks’ last three contests, he’s averaging 28.7 points and 7.3 assists per game. Young is also shooting 51% from the field and 35% from three-point range.
Just like Phoenix, Atlanta is coming into tonight’s game healthy. The only players on the injury list are Cam Reddish, De’Andre Hunter, and Bogdan Bogdanovic, who is listed as probable with a hamstring. Atlanta is 13-6 against the spread in their last 19 games and undefeated at home with a record of 6-0 ATS in their last six games. They are also 5-1 ATS in their last six games versus teams from the West.
Player Prop: TBD player props for the Suns have not been posted yet.
