The New York Mets and Atlanta Braves enter the final game of their series trending in opposite directions. New York has won four straight while Atlanta has lost two in a row, including a 13-2 drubbing at the hands of the Mets Saturday. It doesn’t get any easier for the Braves as Jacob deGrom takes the mound for Sunday Night Baseball on ESPN.
Update — Braves-Mets game has been postponed due to rain.
Braves vs. Mets, 7:08 p.m. ET
Moneyline pick: Mets (-152)
deGrom has a 0.80 ERA, but the Mets are notorious for not giving him enough run support in starts. That has lead to a 3-2 record for New York’s ace this season in seven starts. The Mets may have used up all their runs Saturday, but they shouldn’t need too many with deGrom on the bump. New York should close out the series with a win.
Player Prop: TBD
