The Atlanta Braves and New York Mets will begin their now two-game set on Saturday at 7:15 p.m. ET. Ian Anderson will be on the mound for the Braves, while Taijuan Walker will start for the Mets. We’ll go over some ideal picks on DraftKings Sportsbook centered around the game here

Braves vs. Mets, 7:15 p.m. ET, FOX

Moneyline pick: Braves -152

These two teams were scheduled to begin their then three-game set on Friday night, but the game was postponed. Therefore, we get a tremendous matchup Saturday between Ian Anderson and Taijuan Walker on the mound. Both starting pitchers who have pitched well this season for their respective teams.

The Mets are coming into this NL East tilt on a three-game winning streak, which included to double header wins over the Colorado Rockies. Meanwhile, the Braves are coming off of a loss to the Boston Red Sox, but still have won four out of their last five games.

This game will likely be a pitchers duel between Anderson and Walker. Anderson is 4-1 with a 2.82 ERA this season through nine starts this season. He’s also pitched well on the road with a 2.49 ERA and opponents are only hitting .250 against him. As for Walker, he’ll be making his first start since May 17, where he faced the Braves. He allowed 1 hit and had 2 strikeouts in 3.0 IP, before exiting with left-side tightness. That being said, I like the Braves to get the win as I trust their offense to produce runs, rather than a Mets’ offense, which is missing multiple players because of injury.

Player Prop: Ian Anderson over 5.5 strikeouts (-148)

Between the two pitchers on the mound Saturday, Anderson has a better and favorable strikeout prop, despite it being listed at minus money. The 23-year-old has gone over 5.5 strikeouts in six out of nine starts this season. Aforementioned, Anderson will be facing a Mets’ lineup that is missing a lot of key players due to injury. The Mets’ offense is averaging 8.43 strikeouts per game this season and 8.21 Ks at home.
