The Bucks are going for a sweep of the Heat, something few thought would be a possibility when the playoffs started. Miami took out the Bucks in last season’s bubble and made things close in Game 1, but Milwaukee responded well in Games 2 and 3. The addition of Jrue Holiday is already paying off for the Bucks in the postseason.
No team has ever come back down 3-0, so the Heat will really only be playing for pride. With Victor Oladipo sidelined, Miami lacked some significant firepower but still had to have confidence going against the Bucks. Jimmy Butler struggled early in the series, but it seems Miami’s close loss in Game 1 carried over into poor defensive efforts in the next two contests. After a surprising run to the Finals in the bubble, the Heat will have to make some tough decisions in the offseason. They’ll try to avoid a sweep first.
