Many expected the Miami Heat to challenge the Milwaukee Bucks again after upsetting the team in the second round of the playoffs in last season’s Orlando bubble. Milwaukee has completely flipped that narrative, smashing the Heat in Games 2 and 3 after edging them in overtime in Game 1. Giannis Antetokounmpo has further elevated his game and Jrue Holiday is justifying Milwaukee’s hefty trade price. Jimmy Butler has struggled offensively and Miami’s defense cannot figure out Milwaukee’s offense. No team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit in the playoffs, so these games are purely for pride for the Heat.
Bucks vs. Heat, 1:30 p.m. ET, TNT
Pick ATS: Bucks -5 (-109)
After a 109-107 win in overtime in Game 1, the Bucks won Games 2 and 3 by 34 and 29 points respectively. Antetokounmpo and Holiday are on fire and the Heat have no answers defensively. Milwaukee isn’t even shooting insanely well, hitting 47 percent of its shots and 33.3 percent of its threes. Expect the Bucks, who look locked in, to close this out.
Player Prop: Jrue Holiday to record a double-double (+220)
Holiday has a double-double in every game this series, making this a strong player prop for prospective bettors. He’s been racking up assists in the last two games, but is capable of pulling down rebounds as well. If you expect the Bucks to keep things rolling offensively, Holiday will be heavily involved. Bank on him getting a double-double in Game 4.
