The Washington Wizards will host the 76ers in Game 3 looking to avoid a 3-0 hole against the East’s No. 1 seed. Philadelphia will look to move closer to wrapping up the series to get some additional rest. Joel Embiid has looked like the MVP finalist he is in this series, shooting 60.7 percent from the floor in the first two games.
Sixers vs. Wizards, 7:00 p.m. ET, ESPN
Pick ATS: 76ers -6 (-107)
The Wizards might be without Russell Westbrook due to an ankle injury, but even with him they’re shorthanded against the 76ers. Embiid, Ben Simmons and Tobias Harris are firing on all cylinders. After a seven-point win in Game 1, Philadelphia rolled to a 25-point rout in Game 2. Expect more success for the 76ers in Game 3. They should cover the spread.
Player Prop: Ben Simmons over 14.5 points (-115)
Simmons struggled to score in Game 1, but bounced back with 22 points in Game 2. The 76ers want him to be more assertive to ensure they have a third viable scoring option later on in the postseason. Simmons isn’t taking jump shots, but he had tremendous success getting to the basket. Expect more of the same in Game 3.
