Saturday’s NBA playoff slate features a handful of the league’s stars like Giannis Antetokounmpo, Joel Embiid, Donovan Mitchell and Nikola Jokic, all who are guaranteed to deliver solid returns in DFS contests.
That being said, it is a great time to give you some value plays for your DFS contest. Unlike NFL DFS, where one pick can make or break your lineup or it’s tough to find quality low-tier value.
In NBA DFS, you can find quality value plays under $5K that can give you a quick 10 points off the bench, grab some rebounds, or stuff the stat sheet. It does not matter if you are playing a 50/50 or Double Up contest, we are going to provide you with three players that you need to put in your lineup.
George Hill, Philadelphia 76ers, $3,300
Hill isn’t filling up the stat sheet so far, but the veteran guard should get additional run in Game 3 vs. the Washington Wizards. He’s a capable scorer and distributor and worth the price in DFS.
Rui Hachimura, Washington Wizards, $4,900
Hachimura is continuing to develop as a forward for the Wizards and while he doesn’t have a great matchup against the 76ers, he’s putting up fantasy points. He’s only slightly under the $5K mark, but he’s a good bet to deliver decent numbers.
Royce O’Neale, Utah Jazz, $4,600
Another player at just under $5K, O’Neale gets serious run in Utah. He only saw a slight reduction in minutes once Donovan Mitchell returned to the lineup, showing how much head coach Quin Snyder values him. O’Neale isn’t going to be a primary option in Utah, but he’s going to be on the floor enough to get looks. If he gets hot, the Jazz will keep rolling with him.
