One of the most exciting events in all of sports is Game 7 of an NHL playoff series. On Friday, May 28, we get the first Game 7 of the 2021 NHL Playoffs. The Vegas Golden Knights host the Minnesota Wild at T-Mobile Arena, with the puck dropping at 9 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network.

The Golden Knights led the series 3-1 but Minnesota thumped them in back-to-back games, winning 4-2 in Las Vegas and then 3-0 in Minneapolis to force the deciding Game 7. The winner of the series will advance to face the Colorado Avalanche in the second round.
The Golden Knights are listed as -180 favorites at DraftKings Sportsbook while the Wild are +155 underdogs. Minnesota is +1.5 on the puck line with a price of -186 while Vegas is -1.5 with a price of +148. The goal total is installed at 5 with the over priced at -136 and the under at +112.
This is the fourth Game 7 in Minnesota Wild history, dating back to their first season as an organization in 2000-01. The club made their first playoff appearance in 2003 and had back-to-back series go the distance. They won both series, beating Colorado 4-3 in the first round and then beating Vancouver 4-3 in the second round. They went seven games in the first round of the 2014 playoffs, beating Colorado.
This is the third Game 7 in Vegas Golden Knights history, dating back to their first season as an organization in 2017-18. In the 2019 playoffs, they lost in seven to San Jose in the first round. A year later, they beat Vancouver in seven in the second round.
