Dixon, who won in 2008, is the favorite to win at +350 according to DraftKings Sportsbook. Colton Herta and Patricio O’Ward have the next best odds at +700 and +1100 respectively, but Dixon is the clear leader. Reigning champion Takuma Sato is +2000 to win.
Recent history
Soto could become the second active driver with three Indy 500 victories if he wins Sunday. The last time a rookie racer won was in 2016 when Alexander Rossi lifted the trophy. He was also the last American to win the race. This will be the second Indy 500 under owner Roger Penske.
