The Cleveland Browns took a huge step last season, as they went 11-5 and beat the Steelers in the Wild Card game then played the Kansas City Chiefs tough in defeat. The potential we all saw not come to fruition in 2019 burst out in 2020. Now they look to take another step in 2021 and the expectations are even higher.

The Browns added S John Johnson III, DE Jadeveon Clowney, DE Takkarist McKinley, CB Troy Hill, LB Anthony Walker, and DT Malik Jackson while drafting CB Greg Newsome and ILB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah in the first two rounds.
They lost DT Larry Ogunjobi, DT Sheldon Richardson, CB Kevin Johnson, CB Terrace Mitchell, and DEs Olivier Vernon and Adrian Clayborn.
Cleveland Browns prediction: OVER 11.5
The Browns are stacked with talent, especially after a strong offseason. Adding Johnson, Hill and Newsome to the secondary that already has Denzel Ward will turn a weakness into a strength. Myles Garrett, Clowney and McKinley will help a defensive line that could use more depth and Garrett is near the top at his position.
The offense under Baker Mayfield took a step forward with an improved offensive line. The run game will again be great with Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt leading the way. Mayfield still has room to improve, but if he can just play at the same level he did in 2020 the team should be in a good spot with their improved pass defense and the return of Odell Beckham Jr.
