The Trail Blazers will try bounce back in Game 3 after losing 128-109 in Game 2 Monday night. Damian Lillard tried to will Portland to a win with 42 points on 11-of-24 shooting from the field and 9-of-16 shooting from three-point range. He also added a team-high 10 assists. CJ McCollum was the team’s second-leading scorer with 21 points, but the Blazers’ bench was non-existent in the loss. Carmelo Anthony had five points in 21 minutes and Enes Kanter had four points and five rebounds in 18 minutes.

The Nuggets played with aggression and imposed their will on the Trail Blazers in their Game 2 win. MVP candidate and All-star Nikola Jokic was one of six Nuggets’ players in double figures, with 38 points (15-20 FG, 2-4 3pt). Michael Porter Jr. scored 18 points, while Paul Millsap and Monte Morris combined for 27 points off the bench. Denver will need a similar output in Game 3, which is in Portland.
