NBA DFS value plays under $5K for Wednesday, May 26th in the 2021 playoffs

We go over some top bargain options under $5K on DraftKings for Wednesday’s first-round slate for the 2021 NBA playoffs.

Three games will make up Wednesday’s main NBA slate. The action will begin with a 7:00 p.m. ET matchup between the Washington Wizards and end with Game 2 of the Utah Jazz-Memphis Grizzlies series, which is set to tip-off at 10:00 p.m. ET.

That being said, it is a great time to give you some value plays for your DFS contest. Unlike NFL DFS, where one pick can make or break your lineup or it’s tough to find quality low-tier value.

In NBA DFS, you can find quality value plays under $5K that can give you a quick 10 points off the bench, grab some rebounds, or stuff the stat sheet. It does not matter if you are playing a 50/50 or Double Up contest, we are going to provide you with three players that you need to put in your lineup.

Alec Burks, New York Knicks, $4,600 Salary

Burks scored 27 points in 26 minutes against the Atlanta Hawks last week, and 18 of his points came in the fourth quarter. New York needs shot makers to keep up with Atlanta's prolific offense, and he’s one of the few players, aside from Derrick Rose and Julius Randle, who can score on all three levels fairly consistently. The Knicks need to win Game 2 to avoid falling into an 0-2 hole. Burks can help make that happen.

Rui Hachimura, Washington wizards, $4,700

Washington needs size and scoring to keep up with the Sixers, and Hachimura has both. The second-year forward exceed 35 minutes for the first time in over a mong last week. While he hasn’t taken more than eight shots in three games, it’s clear that role-players will need to step up to take down Philly’s top-notch defense. He and Davis Bertans ($3,800) are the players most well-equipped t do that.

Taj Gibson, New York Knicks, $3,300

There’s a chance that Nerlens Noel (ankle) will miss Game 2 because of a sprain he suffered last week, and that means Gibson could get a start and play a major role for the Knicks against the Hawks. He’s scored more than 23 DKFP in four of his last 10 games as a backup while averaging 22.1 points per game.
