Best MLB team stacks for DFS on Tuesday, May 25th

We go over some of the best MLB teams to stack for DFS on DraftKings for Tuesday’s main slate.

We have a full 15-game slate in the majors on Tuesday, which means there are still multiple opportunities to come away with a win in DraftKings baseball DFS. The main slate has 13 games starting at 7:05 p.m. ET.

Sometimes with a plus-matchup on the MLB game slate, we get an opportunity to slot multiple players from the same team into our DFS lineups. You can learn more about MLB DFS strategy, including team stacks, here.

Here, we’ll break down three of the best team stacks for the MLB slate on Tuesday, May 25th.

Orioles vs. Twins, 7:40 p.m. ET

Nelson Cruz ($6000)
Miguel Sano ($4300)
Max Kepler ($3900)

Despite switching up our methodology to three players in our team stacks, we still have not found any success. But it’s a long MLB season and all it takes is one team to have a breakout game. For our first team stack, we are going to highlight the Minnesota Twins, who will play the Baltimore Orioles at 7:40 p.m. ET. DraftKings Sportsbook currently has the run total set at 9.5, which is one of the highest on the main slate.

This team stack was suggested to me by Al from Easton’s Box Breaks and I like where his mind at with these selections. Minnesota is going up against Orioles starting pitcher Dean Kremer, who has a record of 0-4 and 6.35 ERA through 10 starts. He has also a home run in each start this season, which is just mind-boggling.

Both left and right-handed hitters are crushing Kremer, hitting .286 and .301 respectively. Since both Cruz and Kepler are both listed as day-to-day, Sano is great value play here. He has a recorded a hit in six out of his last eight games and scored 10-points or more in four games.

Indians vs. Tigers, 7:10 p.m. ET

Jose Ramirez ($5700)
Cesar Hernadez ($3900)
Josh Naylor ($3500)

Another game where we scored some runs scored is between the Cleveland Indians and Detroit Tigers at 7:10 p.m. ET to begin the main slate. DraftKings Sportsbook currently has the run total set 9.5. We are going to put together a Cleveland stack as they will be going up against Tigers starting pitcher Tarik Skubal.

This season, Skubal has a record of 1-6 with an ERA of 5.45 in nine games (seven starts). He has also allowed 12 home runs, including three to the Indians in his first two starts. Despite left-handed batters slugging .300/.378/.475 with a home run and 5 RBI, a majority of the damage is done by right-handed hitters (.245/.339/.600, 11 HRs, 19 RBI). Cesar Hernandez is another solid value play for under $4K in MLB DFS. He is batting .429 against Skubal with 2 HRs and 2 RBI in seven at-bats.

Braves vs. Red Sox, 7:10 p.m. ET

Ronald Acuna Jr. ($6100)
Freddie Freeman ($5600)
Austin Riley ($4000)

For our last option, we are going to highlight the Atlanta Braves since we don’t have no NL teams listed as playable DFS stack. The Braves will be opposed by Red Sox starter Garrett Richards, who has pitched better as of late, with a 4-0 record and 2.27 ERA in his last five starts. However, he has struggled at home this season, with a 1-2 record and 7.11 ERA. Left-handed hitters have had success off of Richards (.277, 3 HRs, 9 RBI), which is great news for Atlanta first baseman Freddie Freeman. Freeman has recorded a hit in five out his last six games, upping his batting average to .235 on the season.
