Picking who will win series between 76ers-Wizards in first round of 2021 NBA playoffs

We go over the betting lines, injury report and expectations for the first-round series between the Philadelphia 76ers and Washington Wizards in the 2021 NBA playoffs.

The No. 1 seed Philadelphia 76ers square off with the No. 8 seed Washington Wizards in the first round of the 2021 NBA playoffs. The Wizards made the postseason after defeating the Indiana Pacers 142-115 in the East’s final play-in game while the 76ers never looked like giving away the conference’s top seed through the regular season.

Sixers vs. Wizards odds to win series

Sixers: -1250
Wizards: +730

As expected, the Philadelphia 76ers are massive favorites to advance out of the first round. The Washington Wizards have some firepower with Russell Westbrook and Bradley Beal, but lack the necessary depth to compete with Philadelphia. Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons should be healthy and ready to go for the 76ers.

Who will win the series?

According to DraftKings Sportsbook, this is expected to be a short series. A Philadelphia sweep is not out of the question, but the 76ers have struggled to get going in the playoffs in recent seasons. The East’s top seed should still take care of business against an inconsistent Wizards squad.
