Spence is currently viewed as the top fighter in the world at 147 pounds. While The Ring has not crowned a champion due to numerous alphabet titleholders, Spence is the top dog for the time being. He is 27-0 with 21 knockouts and holds the WBC and IBF welterweight titles. He’s successfully defended one or both titles in five consecutive fights.
Pacquiao is 62-7-2 for his career with 39 knockouts and holds the WBA (Super) title. He claimed that belt with a split decision victory over Keith Thurman in July of 2019. He fought twice in 2019 but has not fought since. He ranks third among welterweights on The Ring rankings.
