We’re going to side with the public on this one given the Grizzlies lack the postseason experience the Warriors have even if Golden State is not a full strength without Klay Thompson this year.
Over/Under
The over is getting the majority of point total bets at 60%, but 57% of the money is headed toward the under. We’re taking the over in this spot even though neither team scored a ton in their first play-in tournament game. Golden State and Memphis average a high number of possessions compared to the rest of the NBA, so we’ll be rooting for scoring on Friday night.
Moneyline
Ninety-one percent of the the bets and handle are going to the Warriors to win this game outright. There is not a whole lot of value to be had in this bet with oddsmakers adjusting to minimize their risk in a completely one-sided wager. Still, we’d recommend betting Golden State to earn the victory over Memphis and clinch a spot in the NBA playoffs.
