The 2021 NBA Playoffs are set to get underway on Saturday, May 22 after the play-in tournament. We still have a few series that need to be decided, but we already know the matchups for the 3-6 seeds in the Western Conference.
The No. 3 seeded Denver Nuggets will face the No. 6 seeded Portland Trail Blazers in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. The Nuggets edged out the Los Angeles Clippers to set a date with the Blazers, who avoided the play-in tournament by a hair. These two teams have a bit of history in the postseason. Back in 2018-19, the Blazers had a run to the West Finals. In the second round, the Nuggets and Blazers had a thrilling 7-game series in which Portland won two games after going down 3-2 in the series to advance. Both rosters are very different but we could get a similar series in terms of excitement.
Here we’re going to track the results and provide everything you need to know for the series, including odds, betting and fantasy basketball picks and injury reports. We’ll also add in the schedule when that’s released with TV info and game times.
