Everything you need to know for Knicks vs. Hawks first-round series in the 2021 NBA Playoffs

The No. 4 seed New York Knicks and No. 5 seed Atlanta Hawks will meet in the first round of the NBA Playoffs. We go over the schedule, odds and more.

The 2021 NBA Playoffs are set to get underway on Saturday, May 22 after the play-in tournament. We still have a few series that need to be decided, but we already know the matchups for the 4-5 seeds in the Eastern Conference.

The No. 4 seeded New York Knicks will host the No. 5 seeded Atlanta Hawks in the first round of the East playoff bracket. Both teams are back in the postseason after long layoffs and both teams have aspirations of making a surprise run through the conference. These two teams finished tied in the standings at 41-31 but the Knicks won swept the season series 3-0. This is the first playoff appearance for Hawks PG Trae Young and the first time the Knicks are in the postseason since 2013.
