The Houston Astros and Oakland Athletics will continue their three-game set Wednesday at 9:40 p.m. ET. Zack Greinke will be on the mound for Houston, while Frankie Montas will start for Oakland. We’ll go over some ideal picks on DraftKings Sportsbook centered around the game here.

Astros vs. Athletics, 9:40 p.m. ET

Moneyline pick: Astros -118

The Athletics pulled out a walk-off 6-5 win over the Astros Tuesday to begin their three-game set at the Coliseum. Oakland has now won two consecutive games, while Houston saw their season-high six game winning streak snapped. The Astros will hope that they can get back into the win column with veteran ace Zack Greinke on the bump.

Greinke has a record of 3-1 and an ERA of 4.18 through nine starts this season. In his last outing against the Texas Rangers, Greinke only allowed 7 hits, 3 earned runs, 1 walk, and struck out 5 hitters in 7.0 IP. It was his win since April 17 against the Seattle Mariners. The veteran pitcher will try to duplicate that success against the first place A’s, who he beat on Opening Day. The 37-year-old only gave up 3 hits, zero earned runs, and struck out 4 hitters across 6.0 IP. This season, Greinke has a record of 2-0 and 1.80 ERA away from MinuteMaid Park. In 22 career games against the Athletics, he possesses a tremendous 10-3 record and 2.77 ERA.

Meanwhile, Montas will try to slow down an Astros’ offense that is averaging 5.26 runs per game this season, which is second-best in the majors. The 28-year-old starting pitcher has a record of 5-2 with an ERA of 4.93 through eight starts.

In his last start against the Twins, he gave up 4 hits (1 HR), 1 earned run, 1 walk, and struck out 4 hitters in 6.0 IP. Montas has found success at home this season with a record of 3-1 with an abnormal 6.75 ERA. In 10 games against the Stros, he has a record of 5-3 with an ERA of 4.11, which isn’t bad. But Montas has allowed six HRs to Houston, which is the most against any team in his career.
