Projecting Tennessee Titans skill position depth chart and fantasy impact

The Titans will roll with Derrick Henry and A.J. Brown as their bell cows on the ground and through the air in 2021.

NFL Over/Under | Contenders or pretenders?

The Tennessee Titans are a good team, as they’ve gone 20-12 and made the playoffs the last two seasons with Ryan Tannehill at quarterback. Those two playoff runs have ended with losses to the Ravens and Chiefs. They should again be in contention this season to give it another try, but a few offseason losses could put them behind the eight ball.

Quarterback

  1. Ryan Tannehill
  2. Logan Woodside
  3. DeShone Kizer

Running back

  1. Derrick Henry
  2. Darrynton Evans
  3. Brian Hill
  4. Jeremy McNichols

Wide receiver

  1. A.J. Brown
  2. Josh Reynolds
  3. Dez Fitzpatrick
  4. Cameron Baston
  5. Racey McMath
  6. Nick Westbrook-Ikhine
  7. Chester Rogers

Tight end

  1. Anthony Firkser
  2. Geoff Swaim
  3. Jared Pinkney
  4. Tommy Hudson

Biggest offseason changes

The Titans lost tight end Jonnu Smith and wide receiver Corey Davis in free agency and replaced them with nobody. Well, they picked up Josh Reynolds from the Rams and drafted Dez Fitzpatrick in the fourth round to help fill the void Davis left At tight end, they’ll promote Anthony Firkser to a bigger role.

Biggest questions for fantasy football

This offense will once again go through Derrick Henry on the ground while A.J. Brown becomes the no-doubt WR1 by a wide margin. For fantasy, those are the only two players you can truly count on, but you should be able to count on them in a big way. Brown has huge potential as a target hog, and injury is the only thing that would be able to slow him down this season.

Firkser has some fantasy potential, as he and Brown are the two “veteran” pass catchers. He has potential to be a Top 10 fantasy tight end, but that isn’t saying as much as it sounds. We’ll have our handful of stud tight ends and then a revolving door of streamers and touchdown makers filling out the rest as usual.
