The PGA Tour is headed to Kiawah Island Golf Resort in South Carolina this, for the 2021 PGA Championship. This is the second major of the calendar year following the April Masters. It is the second time the PGA Championship has been played at Kiawah Island Golf Resort. Rory McIlroy won here in 2012, beating David Lynn by eight strokes.
A year ago, Collin Morikawa won the tournament by two strokes over Paul Casey and Dustin Johnson. That tournament was held at TPC Harding Park course in California. This year, McIlroy (+1150) enters as the favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook and he’s followed by Jon Rahm and Justin Thomas at +1450. The defending champ Collin Morikawa is +3000, while 2020’s runner-ups, Paul Casey and Dustin Johnson, are at +5500 and +1850 to win, respectively.
The tournament gets underway on Thursday with tee times starting at 7 a.m. ET. On Thursday, ESPN+ will air first round coverage from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. ET followed by coverage on ESPN from 1 to 7 p.m. ET.
