We go over the odds on DraftKings Sportsbook for the Brooklyn Nets to win it all in the 2021 NBA Playoffs.

The 2021 NBA Playoffs are here and the road to the Larry O’Brien Trophy begins. The playoffs opens with a play-in tournament for the 7-10 seeds in each conference, with the two survivors in each conference advancing to the first round with the top six seeds on each side. We’ll be posting DraftKings Sportsbook odds for each team to open the tournament and as teams advance through each round.

The Nets entered the 2020-21 season with championship aspirations, finally getting to roll out Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant both healthy. Coach Steve Nash has done well in his first season at the helm, but really nobody thought he’d end up failing. Brooklyn dealt for James Harden and now it doesn’t look like anyone can stand in the Nets’ way this postseason. The most surprising thing has been the role players stepping up. Guys like Jeff Green, Joe Harris and Bruce Brown have provided stability while KD, Kyrie and Harden have been in and out of the lineup. Veteran forwards like DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin will be hungry for a championship. Everything lines up for the Nets to make a run at the Finals.

Nets odds to win NBA championship, May 17: 250

Brooklyn has the best odds to win a championship this season at +250 on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Nets have a core of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and James Harden that has looked unstoppable at times this season. The Nets are +120 to come out of the East, which we don’t see that low very often. It’s just a testament to how talented the core is surrounded by its role players. Is there much value in betting on the Nets? Not really. Are they going to win it all this season? It seems likely given how the Lakers have struggled and the lack of competition in the East.
