The Buffalo Bills and Josh Allen broke out in a big way last season, as they went 13-3 and won the AFC East. They then went on to the AFC Championship where they lost for the second time to the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs remain atop the AFC and Allen and company will likely need to go through them to get to the promised land.
The AFC East should be better this season as well. The Patriots upgraded across the board while the Dolphins won ten games last season with a strong defense and a little Fitzmagic. If sophomore quarterback Tua Tagovailoa takes a significant step forward this season, they will be a contender.

Biggest offseason changes
The Bills retained the bulk of their offense from last season, but did swap out John Brown for Emmanuel Sanders. Brown dealt with injuries last season, so it was evident they could win games without him. Sanders will just need to stay healthy to be a slight upgrade.
Buffalo also brought in Mitch Trubisky as the backup quarterback. This is a great role for Trubisky, who has done some of his best work after being subbed in during a game. He’ll of course want to continue his pursuit of a starting job in the future, but if Allen misses any time this season, they’ll likely be happy to have Trubisky for short stints.
Biggest questions for fantasy football
Last season Zack Moss overtook Devin Singletary at times, as Moss had 41 carries to Singletary’s 28 over the last four games of the season. Singletary had seven targets to Moss’ three in that stretch, which made them fairly similar in upside in PPR leagues. Singletary could still continue to be called the starter and see fewer touches, but this is a battle to keep an eye on. IF Moss can take over the bulk of the carries, he gets a boost in fantasy this season.
Emmanuel Sanders, Cole Beasley and Dawson Knox will fight for targets behind Stefon Diggs and there’s no clear fantasy winner at this point. Knox did get a win, as the Bills didn’t draft a tight end, but free agent Jacob Hollister could end up sharing targets.
