NFL schedule release day is upon us, and this year brought something new. The NFL announced the full Week 1 slate of games during the various broadcast network morning shows on Wednesday to whet our collective whistles until the 8 p.m. ET full schedule release.
The Week 1 schedule drop also means that we get odds for Week 1 sooner than Wednesday night! DraftKings Sportsbook posted point spreads for the Week 1 slate, which means you can start preparing your picks against the spread for opening week. Plenty is going to change, so these numbers will also move. There is some value to be had on the lines at this point, but injuries, depth chart changes, and just who will turn out to be better or worse than expected makes mid-May picks a bit difficult.
Below is a full list of lines with one notable absence. The Packers face the Saints in New Orleans to open the season, but we do not have a line yet. The Aaron Rodgers saga is not going away until at least June 1, and potentially even later than that. As such, DK has not posted a line for the game.
