The San Francisco Giants and San Diego Padres will link up for Game 2 of their three-game set on Saturday at 8:40 p.m. ET. The Giants will give the ball to Anthony DeSclafani, while the Padres will start Blake Snell. We’ll go over some ideal picks on DraftKings Sportsbook centered around the game here.
Giants vs. Padres, 8:40 p.m. ET
Moneyline pick: Padres -182
San Diego took Game 1 of the three-game set on Friday night, winning 3-2. The Padres have now won three out of their last five games and two-straight. They will try to make it three-straight on Saturday, but it will not be easy with DeSclafani on the mound for San Fran. The veteran pitcher has looked solid through the opening month of the season. He has a record of 2-0 with a team-best 1.50 ERA. San Francisco’s starting staff has an ERA of 2.95, which is one of the reason for their solid start. In five starts against the Giants, DeSclafani has an ERA of 2.17, which is the second-best mark against any team.
For the Padres, Snell will be getting the ball. The former AL Cy Young winner has yet to record a win this season, but still has an ERA of 3.92. He would like to take down that a full run or so in this game. The 28-year-old has already made a start against the Giants this season, only allowing four walks, two hits, two earned runs (a home run), and striking out eight in 5.0 IP.
Player Prop: TBD player props have not been posted yet for either team.
