The Los Angeles Dodgers will continue their seven-game road trip on Tuesday night against the Oakland Athletics at 9:40 p.m. ET. The Dodgers took game one of three-game set by a final score of 10-3 on Monday, thanks to a dominating offensive performance. Los Angeles hit two home runs (Justin Turner, Will Smith), while Dustin May recorded eight strikeouts and only gave up two hits in six scoreless innings pitched. As for Oakland, Mark Cahna was the lone bright spot, going 2-for-5 with a home run in the eighth inning.

On Tuesday night, ace Clayton Kershaw will be looking to bounce back from his Opening Day performance for the Dodgers, while the Athletics will run out Chris Bassitt. We’ll go over some ideal picks on DraftKings Sportsbook centered around the game here.

Dodgers vs. Athletics, 9:40 p.m. ET

Moneyline pick: Dodgers -175

The line for Tuesday night’s game is currently set at -1.5 runs, with the Dodgers listed as the favorite. The defending World Series champs are also the favorite on the moneyline at -175. The winless Athletics will be trying to snap their five-game losing skid, but it will not be easy with Kershaw on the mound. Kershaw struggled against the Colorado Rockies last week in the season opener. The veteran pitcher gave up 10 hits, while only recording two strikeouts in 5.2 innings pitched in a high-scoring contest at Coors Field.

Since Kershaw’s outing on Opening Day, the Dodgers’ offense has been cooking, averaging 7.7 runs in their last four games. Meanwhile, the Athletics’ offense has fallen by the wayside to start the season. Oakland is only averaging 2.4 runs per game and have lost by average of 6.6 runs per game. When you look at those two stats, it tells you everything you need to know about the Athletics’ struggle.

Player Prop: TBD player props for Tuesday night’s game has not been posted yet for either team.
