While Baylor hasn’t even cut the nets down yet to celebrate their 2021 NCAA Championship, the preparation for next season already begins.

The Baylor Bears were an 86-70 winner in 2021 over the Gonzaga Bulldogs in the title game, but it’s the Zags that are favored to be right back in this position next year. The 31-1 Zags came 40 minutes short from being the first undefeated team in college basketball since Indiana in 1976.

Baylor, Florida State, and Michigan are next on the list, all at +1200. The Bears only have one senior starter in MaCio Teague, and he is eligible to return to Waco next season, but he’ll likely move onto professional basketball.

And if you’re looking from a 2021 Cinderella to make a bigger move next year, Abilene Christian and Oral Roberts are both 1000-1 to win it all next season.
