The Atlanta Falcons added a powerful weapon to their arsenal on Thursday when using the No. 4 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft on Florida tight end Kyle Pitts. Now first-year head coach Arthur Smith and staff turn their attention to round two, where there’s a few different directions they could go.

Best bet
The Falcons have a need at corner and could draft Asante Samuel Jr. out of Florida State to play opposite of 2020 first-rounder A.J. Terrell. They could also decide to reach for running back like Javonte Williams out of North Carolina to complement free agent signing Mike Davis.
However, the best bet here would be to go with the Falcons selecting a defensive lineman with the 35th pick, most likely the powerful Christian Barmore out of Alabama to play inside with Grady Jarrett.
