The Broncos cannot seem to find that quarterback of the future, as they don’t appear to be sold on Drew Lock after a poor 2020 season. That doesn’t mean they are a lock to draft a quarterback, as they’d likely need to trade down a few spots to get their guy. But I do expect them to at least look into the possibility.
If they don’t pull off a trade early on, they will likely look at a top cornerback or offensive lineman to fill a need and could end up drafting a quarterback later to compete with Lock. There’s no doubt that they have a strong young group of receivers and could have a top passing attack if they can get the quarterback position solved.

Fantasy football impact
Javonte Williams, RB
The Broncos first offensive pick was a surprise, but they did need another running back with Phillip Lindsay leaving via free agency. Williams’ fantasy prospects aren’t as good out of the gate with Melvin Gordon already in Denver, but he’s young and should be able to grab the lead role sooner than later. But in the end, he’ll need a Gordon injury to have an immediate fantasy impact.
